Install
Stop the server.
Or the proxy, on a network.
Put the JAR into the plugins folder.
Remove older Connection Guard JARs first.
Start the server.
The plugin writes its config.yml and starts checking new players. The shipped config refuses VPN hits and blocks CN and RU.
Review config.yml.
Change rules, then run /cg reload; restart after changing detection services or the cache. /cg info <IP> shows what each service reports.
